as much as I would love a bmw wagon or hatch there are a number of good reasons e39 are so cheap now

Noted. I am searching for a cheap and cheerful European wagon to drive for the foreseeable future (year or two) while wive.gov and I figure out a few higher-level financial decisions (house, expanding her business, etc.). We paid off our 2013 Mini Cooper and are selling it, that freed up a ton of DTI Ratio for the mortgage.
